Description

Polyester chips, also known as polyethylene terephthalate chips, or PET chips for short, are the intermediate raw material for the production of polyester fibers, bottle flakes, films, and other end products. Polyester chips are an extremely important basic chemical raw material, found in everything from the clothes we wear and the bottles we drink to industrial materials. They are an indispensable polymer material in modern life and industry.

Performace

  • Intrinsic Viscosity（ IV） :  e.g. 0.40 – 0.68 dL/g,/0.70 – 0.88 dL/g；
  • Grade:   Bottle grade;
  • Melting Point（Tm）: The melting point of pure PET is usually between 250-260℃;
  • Ash Content: Lower values are better (usually < 0.05%);

Application Areas：

  • Beverage bottles: carbonated beverage bottles, mineral water bottles, juice bottles, etc.
  • Food containers: cooking oil bottles, condiment bottles, trays, etc.
