Description

YGH041 (standard YGH041T) is a PE100 grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe material produced by Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical. It features bimodal distribution, high resistance to slow crack growth (SCG), and weather resistance, making it suitable for pressurized pipelines in municipal, gas, and water supply systems.

Performace

  • Melt flow index (MFR) :    Medium flow rate (190℃/5kg) 0.26–0.44/10min;
  • Grade:   PE100 / MRS 10.0 (50-year long-term hydrostatic strength 10 MPa)；
  • Density:  0.949–0.960/cm³ (high-density polyethylene category)
  • Key Advantages : Good plasticization and smooth surface; Good dimensional stability, not prone to warping or deformation; Suitable for high-speed, long-cycle stable production; Excellent formability for large-diameter, thick-walled pipes.   
  • Mechanical properties:  High melt strength,  smooth extrusion,  less prone to melt fracture.
